Q‑Park starts 2026 with a four‑vehicle delivery of new Mercedes‑Benz Citaro Buses.
Q‑Park is one of Europe’s leading parking service providers, known for its well‑managed, clean and secure facilities. Fulfilling the need for high quality parking solutions in strategic locations, including major cities, Q‑Park operate over 5,300 premises totalling availability of over one million parking spaces.
Enabling rapid transfer service between car parking locations and terminals at Gatwick Airport, four new Mercedes‑Benz Citaro buses entered service for the month of January.
Following evaluation of several brands, Steve Rowlerson, Airports Operations Manager at Q‑Park, selected the efficient Citaro Euro VI vehicles. Operating on a high‑intensity route, seeing each vehicle cover an estimated 140,000km annually, the final decision was the Mercedes‑Benz bus product in recognition of its robust construction and premium appointments - benefitting both drivers and passengers.
The high specification Citaro Euro VI buses will provide a new level of comfort, reliability and safety for all on board. Comfort highlights include a heated driving seat, full air conditioning and high‑backed e‑leather Inter Star Eco passenger seating in an Iron Grey colour scheme. Matching grey wood effect flooring adds a further stylistic touch.

Seating 27 with wheelchair/buggy bay, full‑length luggage racking and additional standing capacity, the twelve‑metre Citaros protect all on board with GSR Phase‑B compliancy; Traffic Sign Assist, Sideguard Assist 2, Frontguard Assist, rear‑view camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system optimise safety standards.

The four new Citaro Euro VI buses delivered to Q‑Park were supplied by Mercedes‑Benz Bus Sales at Daimler Buses UK Ltd.
