Richmond’s Coaches chooses Mercedes‑Benz Tourismo once again.
Richmond’s Coaches are a family‑owned operator based in Barley, Hertfordshire. The operator upholds a large and loyal customer base with many travel services and packages available: from UK‑wide day excursions to comprehensive continental holiday packages. Richmond’s Coaches continues its commitment to absolute luxury for its passengers with the successful delivery of its third brand new Mercedes‑Benz Tourismo for 2025.
Built on a 13‑metre chassis, the new Mercedes‑Benz Tourismo M3 seats 53 with deep‑padded Voyage Ambassador seating with centre W/C. The addition of MirrorCam brings technological innovation to the Driver’s workstation; 360 degree visibility is made possible through two LCD screens mounted to the vehicle A‑pillars backed by multiple exterior cameras on board.
Safety specification highlights include periphery lighting for reversing gear to support low‑speed manoeuvring. Further driver assist technology includes Active Brake Assist 6, Sideguard Assist 2 and Traffic Sign Assist.
Richmond’s latest Mercedes‑Benz Tourismo comes equipped with a power‑operated wheelchair lift and LED destination displays at the front, side and rear of the coach as part of a PSVAR specification.
Power to the coach is delivered by the Mercedes‑Benz OM 470, 315 kW Euro VI engine mated to a 6‑speed ZF Ecolife automatic transmission.
The new Mercedes‑Benz Tourismo M3 delivered to Richmond’s Coaches was supplied by Mercedes‑Benz Coach Sales at Daimler Buses UK Ltd.
