The eCitaro family at a glance.
#1: eCitaro - at home on any route.
Twelve metres have been established as the standard length for city buses for decades – and the eCitaro is no exception. The 12.13‑metre‑long, two‑axle vehicle is available with either two or three doors and can carry up to 88 passengers. The eAxle featuring two electric motors close to the wheels and a peak output of up to 250 kW guarantee a powerful drive. The eCitaro optionally comes with between three to six high‑voltage battery packs and a reliable range of 400 kilometres, boasting a maximum capacity of 588 kWh. Depot charging by plug with up to 150 kW charging capacity is the preferred charging variant. But solutions for opportunity charging using a pantograph or charging rail and a charging capacity of up to 300 kW are also available.*
The eCitaro is suitable for any application where flexibility, high passenger capacity, ride comfort and economy are a must. Simply put, it's a genuine all‑rounder.

#2: eCitaro G - high passenger capacity, comfort and safety.
The Mercedes‑Benz eCitaro G, with a length of 18.13 metres, is the ideal solution for very busy routes with heavy passenger traffic. The battery‑electric, articulated bus carries up to 146 passengers. It is optionally available with four to seven high‑performance batteries, which reliably enable route cycles of 300 kilometres with maximum battery equipment. The eCitaro G is available with either three or four doors. The eCitaro G is optionally available with two drive axles, each with a continuous output of 125 kW and a peak output of 250 kW. On routes with traffic light stops and bus stops on steep inclines, the two driven axles offer outstanding ride dynamics – which also means a considerable increase in grip and handling safety on slippery roads in winter. The front and rear sections of the eCitaro G are connected by the tried‑and‑tested, low‑floor articulated joint to the unique Mercedes‑Benz anti‑jackknifing control (ATC), which ensures high stability as well as impressive manoeuvrability.
The eCitaro G is the ideal solution for routes with a consistently high passenger volume. Customers particularly appreciate the comfort and safety of the articulated bus.

#3: eCitaro K - agile and flexible.
The 10.63‑metre Mercedes‑Benz eCitaro K is the shortest version in the eCitaro range. The wheelbase, which has been cut by 1.50 metres compared to the eCitaro, results in a small turning circle of just 17.28 metres and thus outstanding manoeuvrability. This is why the eCitaro K feels at home on narrow, winding routes through suburbs and old towns. It also excels in operations involving lower passenger numbers. But with its transport capacity of up to 84 passengers, it is also ready for more extensive transport operations. The eCitaro K is available with a minimum of four and a maximum of six battery packs generating a combined capacity of up to 588 kWh to guarantee a reliable range of 400 kilometres with maximum equipment. The eCitaro K is available with either two or three doors as desired.*
With its shortened wheelbase, the eCitaro K is especially well‑suited for narrow and winding routes – like through suburbs or old towns.
