High specification Mercedes‑Benz Citaro K enters the fleet at Sussex Coaches.

A landmark occasion for the operator, April saw the arrival of a brand-new Mercedes‑Benz Citaro K of a bespoke specification. Built on a shorter 10.6 metre chassis, the K variant of Citaro offers improved manoeuvrability with a small turning circle of just 17.28 metres.
Alighting passengers are welcomed with a stylish interior; wood-effect flooring leads up to seating and handrails finished in a red-black colourway. At night there is ambient lighting and USB charging points are installed at each passenger seat. Further specification highlights include air conditioning throughout the vehicle interior and an integrated audio-visual system for detailed journey information.
