Project aims to increase the representation of women in the transportation and logistics sector.
The name “Benzersiz Kadınlar” combines “Benz” with the Turkish word “benzersiz,” meaning “unique.” Through the initiative, women have been supported in obtaining the truck and bus driving licences required to enter the profession. In addition, participants received the certificates and documents necessary to work as professional drivers.
As part of the program, trainers from Mercedes‑Benz Türk provided dedicated training covering both professional driving skills and practical aspects of the profession. Participants have since begun taking their places behind the wheel as professional drivers.
The initiative also contributes to the “5 Years, 5,000 Women Drivers” campaign led by CILT Türkiye and WiLAT, which aims to increase women’s employment in the transportation and logistics industry while supporting a more inclusive and sustainable sector.
Through “Benzersiz Kadınlar,” Mercedes‑Benz Türk seeks to support women not only in entering the profession, but also in building sustainable careers as professional drivers.
