Overall concept for the eCitaro.
Electromobility with system.
Be it procurement, operations or servicing – electromobility throws up numerous and completely new questions. The Mercedes-Benz eMobility overall system supplies the answers.
City of the future.
Comprehensive consulting.
When cities grow, population growth brings with it an increase in mobility as well. This poses a challenge for municipal authorities – and an opportunity at the same time. In the transformation to an emission-free public transport system, we provide our customers with comprehensive support on all aspects of the overall e-mobility system. Taking into account the specific operational interests and challenges, we develop the appropriate eCitaro concept on a partnership basis.
eMobility Consulting from Daimler Buses supports transport operators in acquiring vehicles and integrating them into existing transport systems. The choice of charging structure in combination with the appropriate battery technology and the orchestration of the overall e-mobility system are worked out at an early stage in consulting projects. Service and workshop consulting issues are also of central importance for safeguarding ongoing operations.
Mercedes on the outside means Mercedes on the inside.
The eCitaro is not a prototype, but a fully developed all-electric bus. Its superior quality is ensured by the strongly established Citaro. Add to this production at the Mannheim bus plant on the line of the conventionally powered Citaro. Essential components such as the drive axle or electrohydraulic steering have already proven their worth in gruelling city bus use.
