Rural service bus, city bus, shuttle bus, school bus and touring coach all-in-one, it is also suitable for sightseeing excursions. Four Dutch bus companies told us about their experiences with the Mercedes-Benz Intouro.

Since last year, the Van Kooten fleet has been bearing the royal coat of arms "Predicate Court Supplier". Bus Operator Juijn from Zaltbommel uses the multifunctional Intouro for more than just public transportation. The Intouro is also great for excursions, school trips and cycling holidays. According to Arjen Juijn, the Intouro is versatile and an interesting product to put on the market. In 2003, Juijn combined its cycling activity with bus transport, making it both a transportation company and a travel organisation specialised in cycling holidays.

BAB-VIOS, which was established in 1922, has been located in a new building on Hoefsmid street in Wateringen since 2005. Since then, its entire fleet has consisted of Mercedes-Benz, including the Intouro. The Intouro looks great, said Michel Kortekaas - managing director and owner of BAB-VIOS; it is slim, sleek and stylish. This fits perfectly with our business and what this bus can be used for.

Meering, a family-owned company from Amsterdam, has a fleet consisting of 40 buses, 80% of which are Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses. They have had an Intouro for a few years now, which they chose for its wide range of applications. Managing Director Cor Meering: 'The drivers are very enthusiastic about the Intouro.  Every driver would like to drive the Intouro partly because of the smooth automatic transmission."
