The best of both worlds

Classical services minibuses.

Well-looked-after by double professional service: Mercedes-Benz minibuses benefit from the combination of OMNIplus and Mercedes-Benz Vans.

“Support as good as the technology” – the Mercedes-Benz advertising slogan applies just as much today as when it was introduced more than three decades ago. It applies to the Mercedes-Benz minibuses in particular, because two worlds come together here: the service competence of OMNIplus and the technology expertise of Mercedes-Benz Vans.

Generally, bus operators with a minibus are in the best hands as usual with OMNIplus, the Mercedes-Benz service brand. If questions relating to specific issues about the basic Sprinter vehicle emerge, customers are also in the right place with the service partners from Mercedes-Benz Vans. As all components used in Mercedes-Benz minibuses are digitally documented, the Van fitter also knows, from entering the chassis number or connecting to the diagnostic device, what sort of vehicle he is dealing with.

OMNIplus guarantees the smooth supply of spare parts with original parts. In future, many parts will come straight from a 3D printer. The 3D parts production process is particularly interesting for companies that want special equipment features or need seldom-required spare parts, which are not always immediately available. All minibus customers looking for a cost-effective and resource-friendly alternative to original new parts will benefit from the large range of professionally prepared original replacement parts. Whether it is a complete engine or gearbox, turbocharger, water pump, clutch, starter or alternator, the OMNIplus range includes numerous components.

Does the bus company have its own garage? If so, the special OMNIplus WorkshopTraining courses are recommended. They range from specific minibus power unit training, to minibus electrics and the parameterisable special module as an interface between Sprinter and superstructure through to superstructure repairs. Training is given, among other places, at the plant in Dortmund where Mercedes-Benz produces its minibuses – a top address.

Those who do not have their own garage, want to be on the safe side and count on maximum transparency should take out a service contract with OMNIplus. Bus operators can choose its services according to their needs. This starts with the Basic service contract, which covers work according to manufacturer specifications. Then comes the BasicPlus service contract, which in addition includes the replacement of wearing parts. On request, tyre replacement and the statutory inspections can be added. In the case of the Premium service contract, arising repairs, the costs for towing and any surcharges incurred as part of a breakdown are also included. The new Premium Regional service contract includes the same services as the Premium contract, however the customer is tied to two local service partners. Furthermore, the costs for towing and any surcharges incurred as part of a breakdown are excluded.

Mileage and contract term are variable in each case. No matter which service contract companies choose, regular services mean the minibus is always in top condition, the costs are manageable and maximum value retention is guaranteed.

Tailored support: the OMNIplus service contracts secure minibuses individually depending on the company’s needs.
